Katya is an award-winning young jazz vocalist currently based in London. Her clear tone and accurate delivery blends beautifully with natural expressiveness and classy vocal scat. A graduate from the department of jazz at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, she studied voice and improvisation with Brigitte Beraha and Scott Stroman. Her appearances include performances at Pori Jazz Festival in Finland, Rigas Ritmi festival in Latvia, jazz clubs in French Riviera and various appearances across London: the Spice of Life in Soho, St. Martin-in-the-Field, Barbican free stage, Bridewell theatre and Southside house to name a few.
